Since July 2004 Sys Logic has been approved to work with Police Departments, Fire Departments, EMTs, and 911 Data Centers through the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. All of our technicians and engineers are required to be approved by TLETS/CJIS before we allow them to work on any of our clients.
The current CJIS audit consists of 13 major compliance areas based on the CJIS Security Policy set by the FBI. Configuration Management – Controlling system changes, patch management, and securing software updates.
Media Protection & Disposal – Ensuring secure storage, transfer, and disposal of CJI-related hardware and documents.
Mobile Device Security – Implementing security controls for CJI access on laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
Cloud & Vendor Management – Ensuring third-party vendors and cloud providers comply with CJIS standards.
Auditing & Accountability – Logging and monitoring all access to CJI, reviewing audit logs regularly.
We perform a complete TLETS/CJIS mock audit that will cover the entire 14 sections of the CJIS audit including documents, policies, and network diagrams. From the audit result, we then work with the client to ensure that the Agency is ready to pass the official Audit with a 100% score.re.
